WEddings, funerals, and other building use

Our beautiful buildings are open to the community for a variety of uses. Many non-profit organizations, like AA, AlAnon, Seward House, Boy/Cub Scouts, NAACP, Dispute Resolution, Auburn Human Rights and more have used or continue to use space at Westminster for a variety of programs or meetings. If you are interested in building use at Westminster, please review the Building Use Policy and Application,or call the church office at 315-253-3331.
We are also happy to have weddings in our church, and welcome couples to consider the church to celebrate their wedding in the context of Christian worship. Westminster affirms that all people, regardless of sexual orientation, have been created in God’s image and have been called very good in God’s eyes. As such, we gladly and equally welcome both traditional and same-sex couples to be married in our facility, subject to the approval of the pastor, session, and compliance with the church's Wedding Policy.
Funerals or memorial services are also held in either the church sanctuary or chapel. Details about holding a funeral or memorial service at Westminster are found in the church's Funeral Policy.
